Workout Slump

This workout slump is no joke you guys. I just can’t get into it right now. I need all the help and advice I can get. I’m just so over the workout classes and ready to do my thing. I’ve been hurting for the last month now. I had a slight knee injury and it’s put me in this weird spot. Then, about two weeks ago I over extended my arm, so my left arm was in pain from that. I just can’t catch a break.

I’m thinking I need a workout makeover. Just starting with muscle groups and getting into heavier weights as the time goes on. I looked my best squatting and deadlifting a good amount of weight. I also need to do some cardio as well. Cardio is good while lifting weights as well and can really be such a great compliment to lifting. So really the moral of the story is start small and then go big. I’m also thinking of joining Crossfit. That has been on my mind for quite some time, but I just haven’t done it yet.

Either way, I still love to wear my workout clothes. I love to be comfy and these pants are amazing. I love the cut-outs on the back of the leg. There is also a nice deep pocket that would be great to add your car keys to or even your phone. This top is also a fun one. When I saw it online, I thought, Why not try it out?” It’s good for the hot summer days. After this winter I know I’ll be ready for summer. It’s already so cold.

As for this shirt, there’s not much to it, but I love it. It is super cute though and super breezy. Will be good for those hot summer days I know will be coming back around in no time. My pink MX’s are amazing. They for one are so comfortable, and they are a super big hit. Everyone has been asking me where I got them. Click the link to find out yourself. They’re offered in other colors and you can match with your boyfriend because they come in men’s too. So chic and so fun. I was thinking about getting a pair of them for Michael, but he said he already has enough shoes. I say you can never have enough shoes. I might just get them for him anyways.

As always, thank you for reading.

Those cutout leggings are amazing! I think wearing those would motivate me to go to the gym 🙂

If you’ve had some injuries, I’m sure your body is happy to have the rest. I have been doing Orange Theory for a couple months now and I’ve already had sore knees and a sore elbow. I am still trying to figure out my own limits.

Take it easy when you get back in the swing of things and remember what you love about it!

Thank you! I was thinking about trying Orange Theory fitness. It looks amazing. I think I would like it but I need to do my own thing as of now. It can take awhile to find that balance.

I totally feel you! I sprained my ankle over two months ago and haven’t really worked out other than yoga since then. But I went back today and so you can too! Cute workout clothes always inspire me to hit the gym as well. Love these fun leggings. I say ease into it. As much as we don’t want to go and workout, you always feel better after you go. And also, I noticed that I feel better about myself and eat better if I hit the gym. xoxo, Christine

Sorry to hear about your knee injury, I can only imagine how painful that is 🙁
I think you would enjoy CrossFit, it’s definitely a different way to challenge your body. My friend started doing CrossFit and he loved it so much that he opened up his own studio! By the way, I love your leggings. They are so fun and chic! And who doesn’t want to look good when they’re working out.
