Happy Monday! I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. I was really looking forward to this past weekend because I was able to spend it in Chicago (also known as the “Windy City”) with two of my friends to celebrate their birthdays. It was nice to have a little get away before another week of work came my way. Of course as you all may know, there is so much you can do in the Windy City and the trip always seems so short if your only going for a couple of days.
We decided to do the Skydeck that is located in the Willis Tower and that was a fantastic experience that I will never forget. We went later in the evening as the sun was going down and the view was just glorious. I am planning to go back sometimes and see it during the day and I’m definitely bringing my professional camera with me next time. I decided to leave it in the car when I should have just brought it with in the first place. Bad decision on my part! These photos aren’t the best quality but I thought why not share this experience with you all.
The facts on this building are incredible and before you go up to the Skydeck, they show you an informational video about the history of the building and how it began. I feel this is always nice because when I visit places, I don’t like to do research on them because I would rather get the full experience in person and really have the chance to take it all in.
The ticket prices weren’t bad at all! My only suggestion for you is to get the Fast Pass tickets so you don’t have to wait in the all lines. It was such a long wait and I found myself getting hangry. If you suffer from this, I suggest you eat before you go or get the Fast Pass tickets so you don’t have to wait as long. 🙂
