Happy Thursday to all of you! If you didn’t check out my last blog post, you all missed something super important. That super important news is that I will be moving. 🙂 Yesterday I got everything finalized with my new roommate and we are going to get along just fine. It is so crazy how you can meeting someone for the first time and you instantly click. That is totally what happen with my new roommate and I. I have seriously been blessed, and I couldn’t be more grateful. So much has happen over the last couple months, and I finally think I see the light at the end of the tunnel towards something big. I know that moving is going to provide me with many new opportunities and growth when it comes to my personally life and my blog. I have grown so much in my own confidence and I would say that is 100% because of this blog.
During all the hard times I turned to my blog. I didn’t watch Netflix, I didn’t make excuses, I just worked on this blog. I tried to focus on something that could build me up and create the foundation for something better. I constantly want to better my fashion, my writing, and my knowledge. This, my friends, does not happen over night. There will never be a time when I stop bettering myself for this blog. I still have a long way to go. I went into this blog with at first a very narrow mindset, because I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. Well now I get it. Honestly, it’s not about how many followers I have on Instagram, it’s not about how many views I have on my blog, it’s about how I dedicate a portion of myself to you.
Fashionable chic clothing has been installed in me since birth, thanks to my beautiful Mother and now you (as a supporter and friend) make me chic by every like, comment, little piece of advice, and so much more. My mother will always be the chicest of them all. She is a Pinterest Goddess and gives me every form of advice she has just because she wants too. She gave me atleast 3 or more styling opinions on this skirt from Make Me Chic, even though we are miles away. I of course always style my own outfits, but sometimes I will welcome her advise. Doesn’t the saying go something like this “Mothers always know what is best”? This lady always knows what is best when putting an outfit together. I debated styling this skirt with my new Adidas kicks, a cute graphic tee, a fun black leather jacket, and really the list goes on. I completely changed up the original way I wanted to style this look, so I can’t wait to see how she reacts to this elegantly chic outfit. I styled a black, off the shoulder asymmetrical ribbed top, pink pleated maxi skirt, suede black heels, and topped of the look with my top of the line jewelry. Nothing about this outfit doesn’t go and that is what I really like about these pleated skirts. You can seriously dress them any way you want to as long as you have some accessories to take it to the top.
I also wanted to share with you a brand that has become near and dear to my heart after learning about their purpose. Liberti is a brand that is set to employ and empower resettled refugees here in the U.S.. I am not hear to give my political views by any means, but I do believe we all deserve great quality in our lives. No matter were you come from it is important to always better yourself and set your own ways as an individual or as a family. Liberti is not just a simple jewelry brand, it is a brand that stands for freedom, equality, purpose, and so much more.
Each Liberti piece has a purpose and a definition of what it means and symbolizes. My Liberti Love Lariat necklace has such a unique design. I love that you can adjust the chain to style it shorter up around your collarbone or drop it down the middle like I did and create a longer length necklace. This piece sure touched my heart along with the Liberti <1% Embrace Ring . This ring just says so much by reading the description and the 18K- gold infused silver band makes this ring shine.
